Don’t forget, the perfect gift on a 5th anniversary is traditionally made from wood!
A unique opportunity to purchase a one of a kind pen made from the wood from a Tiger Moth biplane built from 1930.
This pen is made in my own workshop here in Scotland and uses the wood from the sternpost of the Tiger Moth. The sternpost is part of the tail structure that holds the rear rudder to the aircraft.
This wood is certified as genuine by the supplier, a respected purveyor of historic artefacts.
The Tiger Moth is probably the most well known, famous and loved biplane in the world, with a maximum speed of 104 mph, a wing span of 29 feet and a total length of under 24 feet. Originally produced as a development of the well known Gipsy Moth, the Tiger Moth went on to become one of the worlds most famous training aircraft.
The DH 82 entered service with the RAF in 1932 and was produced in large numbers for WW2 and provided the majority of RAF pilots with their elementary flying training.
Take the chance to own this amazing pen, or buy for that special present fast! this is one of a limited number and is provided with a numbered certificate.
It comes complete with a quality presentation box and a velvet sleeve for transportation.
Each pen is unique with its own markings, wood grain and pattern.
