My Handcrafted Honeybee & English Oak Pen — A Tribute to Britain’s Woodland Guardians
Crafted by hand in Scotland, this unique writing instrument celebrates one of the quiet partnerships that shapes the British countryside: the enduring relationship between honeybees and the mighty English oak.
The barrel is turned from sustainably sourced English oak, a tree long regarded as the backbone of our woodlands. Its warm grain carries centuries of heritage, strength, and quiet resilience. Adorning the oak are delicately detailed honeybee accents — a nod to the tireless pollinators whose lives are intertwined with the health of our forests.
Honeybees rely on oak trees more than many realise. Though oaks offer few showy flowers, they provide bees with early-season pollen, shelter within their ancient bark, and a thriving ecosystem of life that supports the hive. In return, bees help sustain the wildflowers and undergrowth that flourish beneath the oak’s canopy, completing a cycle that has shaped our landscapes for generations.
This pen captures that relationship in miniature: oak for stability, bees for vitality, and craftsmanship to bring the two together.
Features
• Hand turned English oak body with natural grain patterns
• Honeybee-themed metalwork in antique polished bronze for a warm, nature-inspired finish

Whether you’re jotting down thoughts, sketching ideas, or gifting a piece of the countryside to someone special, this pen brings a touch of woodland magic to every page.
A beautiful limited edition pen made from stunning old English oak, this has a fully detailed honey bee figure on the clip, a beehive on the top, and in addition etchings of a honey bee on its tip and a lovely detail of a honeycomb in the centre.
This pen is a lovely weight, has a great feel and the oak wood has a strong smooth finish.
This takes international cartridges and also comes with a free ink converter to allow use of bottled ink.
You can choose your own colour of a velvet pouch.
